Sustainable progress & shared prosperity in Robertson County

Vote for Jared Scheel as your next District 3 County Commissioner on August 4th

A Personal Message

I grew up right outside of White House. I still remember learning to drive with only one stop-light in town. After I graduated from MTSU, I returned to Robertson County to marry my high school sweetheart, Tammy. We are now the proud parents of three wonderful daughters. With nearly 20 years of experience as a software engineer, as well as founding and selling my own successful technology company, I have developed a strong ability to simplify and solve complex problems. I believe that Robertson County can maintain its cherished rural charm, while also tapping into the explosive growth of Middle Tennessee in a way that is manageable, effective, and equitable for all of our residents. I look forward to serving as your District 3 County Commissioner.

Vision & Mission

What is sustainable progress & shared prosperity?

Robertson County is a great place to call home. Let's work together to strengthen our communities!

Together, we can work to improve the lives of every person that calls Robertson County home. By preserving the character of our rural areas, intentionally planning for housing and economic growth, guiding local entrepreneurship, encouraging employers to increase training and wages, reducing poverty and food insecurity, improving educational outcomes, and developing strong community bonds where every voice is heard, we can lift each-other up and share in the prosperity of our county in ways that we have never even imagined before.

Intentionally guide and manage the growth in our county

With the explosive growth of Middle Tennessee, our county is changing, whether we like it or not. If we want to protect the rural charm we hold dear, we need to be intentional in managing this growth over the long term.

Share equitably in our county's prosperity

Every person in Robertson County deserves the chance to live and thrive here. Increased wages, affordable housing, fast access to healthcare, decreased poverty/child food insecurity... let's prosper together.

Build resilience through investment in local economic development

Success comes from within. We must focus on developing a strong, skilled, and well-paid local workforce, successful local entrepreneurship, and effective local business infrastructure.
